Reid helps clients build their businesses and reduce their cost of sales through Smarter Marketingâ„¢. With a broad background as a marketing writer and designer as well as management roles from Marketing Director to Chief Marketing Officer, he brings multi-faceted experience to his work for clients.
An honors graduate of U.C. Berkeley, Reid was co-founder and chief marketing officer of LetterClick, an Internet correspondence service, part of the core team at two venture-backed start-ups, and even did a stint at Wells Fargo Bank.
With Web sites and Internet marketing so important to most companies today, Reid’s software and Internet experience are extremely valuable. Reid serves clients in numerous industries, in business and consumer product and service marketing. "I find that having a diverse array of clients keeps our work fresher than if we specialized in any one industry," Reid says.
Reid has twice been a columnist, given talks on strategic marketing, branding and Web design, been a Web site design competition judge, and an expert witness on branding. He also founded the Council of Business Advisors, a Bay Area association of professionals who are trusted advisors for their clients.
